This four hour, immersive and experiential conference features a range of speakers including local Vice Chancellors and leading consultants within the sector. The conference will be engaging with a wide variety of in sector and out of sector experts (eg. big tech and edtech firms) to further understand the current Australian university landscape at such a dynamic point in time. With a Universities Accord underway, and an interim report release imminent, this conference will explore what submissions have been made to the process and what the hopes and expectations are for leaders of our institutions.
The HEDx Mid Year Conference is also an opportunity to bring thought leadership and expertise on topics of new technological innovation, changes in the future of work, and what it means for the future of higher education. In doing so, it explores issues with culture in the institutions of the sector and what is needed in shifting the higher education experiences for staff and students to a more equitable, inclusive, purposeful and engaged position.
